"who we are, what were doing"

Where do I begin?....Having been closely involved in the catering industry for more years than I care to mention, and having eaten in some amazing restaurants over the years (and some definitely not so amazing) I have always had a dream to create a dining experience that offered guests something a little different, whilst maintaining the quality of food and service.

So, when the opportunity arose I decided to fulfill my dream. In doing so I suspect that I almost succeeded in driving my daughter, Laura, my partner and close friends up the wall (which is probably an on-going process).

At Cherrywood House, I hope that I have achieved the essential combination of quality home cooked food and service to be enjoyed in and a comfortable, friendly and homely surroundings.

My vision for the future would be to be open more frequently, however one evening a week is my starting point and who knows where the future will take “Cherrywood”.

I cannot thank my daughter Laura, Dave, close friends Tamara, Cathy, Matt and Kate enough, without them my dream would not have turned into reality.

We now look forward to welcoming those who would like to sample this Unique Dining Experience and hope that they will recommend us to their friends and family.
